Hotel Stay

*A little while after leaving the American Girl Store, we headed to our hotel in Fort Worth.*

*The girls were so excited to stay in a hotel.*

*Cami's statement was, "Hotels are the cleanest places on earth."*

*They even got to enjoy their first swim of the year*

Dallas Trip

*Visiting the American Girl Store for the first time*

*Robin and Rebecca are just as excited as Carigan and Camille!*

*The dolls are getting their hair done...and badly needed it!!!*

*They had to seat belt the dolls down in order to brush all the tangles out!*

*Here we are at the Bistro having a meal...all 6 of us*

*I will say that Chad was a little concerned that there would not be a Men's Restroom here at the store - he was wrong... He also thought that the dolls would have their own...But he just doesn't understand women...we go in pairs!*

*Cari did ask me to go to the restroom several times!!!*

*This was fun, but I don't think we can afford to ever come back...a lot of money was spent here...A LOT!*

School Carnival

Cami's school had a carnival to help raise money, and I was asked to head up the first-grade booth. The best idea I had was to just sell pickles...easy peasy lemon squeezy!

During the carnival they also had a talent show going on, which Camille signed up to perform a dance.

She was AWESOME...thanks to Morgan Hollar's help in coming up with a cute dance to teach her. Cami was a hit for sure! She was the only one in her class to do something other than piano. She is so cute like that...full of guts!

Cari enjoyed the face painting the most. She wanted a pig face and after several tries...this is what she wanted. Jett is with her with half good-spider-man and half bad-spider-man.

It was a great time for the students and families of our school!

Garage Sale

*Garage Sales are a regular thing at our house*

*Cari started to draw pictures to pass the time and felt they were worth something...*

*She began to place them on the sale table with their prices attached*

*To avoid further embarrassment...I bought them all!*

Bluebonnets

Only in Texas do you get to experience the beauty of bluebonnets every spring.

I do have a confession, however. These pictures do not express what was really happening....because don't they look so happy and thrilled to be among the flowers...

Well, only us three really know what went down out there...

many tears, fighting, blinding sun, sarcasm, fear of getting dirty or worse...ants!

These pictures are so precious to me because all the "pulling teeth" to get them in those flowers paid off.

Easter Fun

*We enjoyed Easter Morning at church and then afterwards with friends*

*Once home, we had fun with our traditional egg hunt at our house with Mimi and Papa-doo*

*This year we had many great surprises in their eggs including messages of prizes to come*

I hope they will never get too old to hunt for eggs!!!
