One year ago we had just moved into our house and spent our first 4th of July on our porch with the girls eating pizza and cupcakes while watching the fireworks in the distance. It sounded like a great plan to me for this year too; however, the girls had other ideas. They really wanted to see the fireworks at our city park...so we did! 
We were always too worried, in the years prior, that the girls would get hurt, but it seemed like they were old enough to enjoy them by now. It ended up being a lot of fun...though we worry about Cari liking the fire a little too much!
