Mother's Day!

There is no greater gift to me than the gift of my children. No material thing can come close in my opinion! They bring me such joy and love everyday. My husband is my first love and always will be, but my babies are the next best thing~ we admire their talents and gifts all the time. We are so thankful that they are healthy and happy. This Mother's day I thank God for my children and for our family. I never take for granted the people in my life especially my two girls and my loving husband. I know my girls will grow up to be beautiful women who will touch so many lives in a positive way. I even believe they will become wonderful mother's themselves one day too!

Happy Mother's day to all the mothers and women who make a difference everyday in so many people's lives!

Growth Chart

We are really into growing things...can you tell? We really wanted to put up a growth chart in our kitchen, but wanted to be able to take it with us if we ever move later on down the road. It was something special that Chad's family did on the inside of their hall closet door and we wanted to keep the tradition alive in our own home as well. Ever since we moved in, we said we needed to figure out where to put one...and we finally did it. The girls love looking at it and want us to measure them all the time now. We can look back at it and see how tall they were when we moved in.

I want to encourage you to keep these kinds of traditions alive in your families as well and/or make new ones!! It doesn't take much to show your children how important they are to you.

Kid's Garden

We decided to make a garden for the girls in our backyard for fun. They were so excited!!! We dug up an area for it and planted seeds that the girls picked out. We will keep you updated on the growth all summer long. It has been fun watching the seeds sprout!

The Spring Musical!

Cami's school put on a musical yesterday and it was great. The kindergarten class went first and did a few songs. The first picture is Camille doing her solo. The theme of the musical was "Sing with the King" and it was done outside at a park. Cami's class did a picnic song, peanut butter and jelly song, and they acted out to a cute song about a farmer growing plants. Cami is a seed with her friend Haley.

She loves all her friends and they had a blast playing before and after the performances. We were so proud of Camille because she did so well on stage. She seems to really feel comfortable up in front of people now and enjoys performing. She has come a long way since her first dance recital at about 4 years ago.
